Some news and something new

Hello everyone! It´s about time we did a few updates, and we have a lot of exciting pictures so I´m going to try something new. If you click HERE you should be able to see a complete album of our pictures, with comentary and everything. We´ll see I guess.

Things are going well for us, as always. We had a great thanksgiving break with friends and family (and friends who feel like family) and as of Monday evening we are now offically the ONLY people who work for the World Missions department of the Church of the Nazarene in Paraguay AND ARE IN PARAGUAY. There are two other missionary families who work in Paraguay and they are both on vacation/deputation to their home countries. So, as far as missionaries go, we´re it for the whole nation! pretty crazy, and I´m pretty sure not quite what MissionCorps is intended to be, but we´re having fun and ocassionally we still get some work done too.

Thanksgiving was a really good time, and since Kris was here we basically took a few days off and saw some of the Paraguayan sites that we hadn´t had a chance to see yet. Anyway It was a great week, it was good to relax a little and get to catch up with Kris and what he´s up to these days. By the way if you know any single college girls, he´s a very eligable bachelor!

We also had a great meal, complete with every single one of the traditional dishes we know and love. We gathered with three other USAmerican couples, and we went back for lunch today to finish off the very last of the leftovers.
