Well, here is our first blog in two languages... We are trying to write everything in both spanish and english, so we'll see... I hope it's not "un disastre" like our spanish teacher would say (talking about Ted, of course)
Well, we've arrived, and after a weekend in Seattle with Sarah's parents, we are now staying with some friends in Kansas City. I haven't posted photos yet, but in the next few days I hope to have a new photo album up with pictures of the trip and everything we're doing now. For our friends in Paraguay, we made Chipa and Empanadas for Sarah's family, and it all came out REALLY good. It's a little hard to find almidon here (it's like corn starch made from the yuca plant, it's what they make Chipa from) but there are a few latin grocery stores that always have it.
Much more soon! Thanks for reading!

Hey, Ted! Nice work. Would be really cool if I could also read Spanish!
Just found out you were there. Will look forward to looking thru the blog. All my best to you and Sarah! Blessings! -Peter
